Support Us

The Parish of Christ the King, Battyeford relies on volunteers and money to help resource our weekly worship, pastoral care, music and the children and youth work that is growing the next generation of Christians and their leaders. The funds we receive enable us to look after our building and grounds, support local and national charities, undertake new initiatives, and give a fair proportion of support for the Diocese – which not only pays for our own clergy, but goes towards funding the wider church, including parishes less fortunate than ours.

Volunteer to help activities such as the Luncheon group on Tuesdays (driving, cooking & serving), helping Youth Group on Fridays, or help with services (from leading prayers to serving coffee) – if you can help in any way contact one of our Church Wardens.

Planned Giving by a regular standing order helps the Parish to plan more effectively and, if you are a tax payer, it enables you to increase your donation at no extra cost to yourself using Gift Aid. Donations can be sent directly to the Church Treasurer.

Leaving a legacy to Christ the King is a wonderful way of ensuring that future generations can enjoy the same blessings as we have, and helping maintain a confident and visible Christian presence in Battyeford. Download our legacy leaflet here.
