Here at Christ the King, Battyeford, we have a wide range of church groups that meet regularly. There are groups to suit all ages, no matter where you are on your spiritual journey.
Eat. Pray. Learn.
Once a month on a Tuesday evening starting with supper at 6.45pm. Supper is followed by a talk often given by an invited guest. The evening ends around 8.30pm with the short service of Compline.
Friday Morning Study Group
Alternate Fridays. A small group meets to discuss issues of faith and theology. Often this focuses on us reading a book together and sharing our thoughts and ideas about what we have read.
Tuesday Evening Discussion Groups
Meets periodically throughout the year often using material from the Church of England called Pilgrim.
Arranged each year for 5 weeks, often jointly with Churches Together. Our next course will be on Science and Faith beginning February 2018.
Designed for those who are new to faith, or those who want to learn more about the faith we share. These groups are arranged periodically throughout the year.

CtK Youth Choir
Rehearses on occasional Sunday mornings at 11.15am for 30 minutes. The Youth Choir contribute to occasional service throughout the year. Contact: Nic Bell 07967 323348 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
JAM (Jesus and me)
Our Sunday School. Every Sunday during term time. Age range 3 – 10. Two classes if enough children turn up. One up to Year 1 and the other Year 2 and over. 18 children on the books at present with 3 teachers and 4 helpers. Material is planned to follow the church year. All our leaders and helpers attend appropriate training courses and comply with our child protection policy. Contact: email@example.com
This is for older children from 11+ and meet fortnightly during term time. Material is planned to follow the church year.
